Lina lives in a tiny town in the Australian outback with her husband and her son. The town has recently been featured in a backpackers’ guidebook, and so more visitors are starting to come through. Lina has a small, contented life and a new baby on the way.
Sophie is travelling through Australia when, in a remote Outback town, she sees the best friend, Daisy. Daisy jumped off the Severn Bridge a decade earlier while awaiting trial for the drug-related deaths of four people. The woman denies it, but Sophie knows it’s her.
